The business office at Maryland Farms Pediatrics will require to see your insurance card at each visit. The staff will copy your card, verify benefits, and file your insurance. All co-pays should be paid at the time of your visit. You will also be required to pay at the time of service if your visit will be applied to your deductible or if the patient is not covered under an insurance plan.  We are providers for the following insurance plans: Cigna, Aetna, Healthspring, BCBS, United Healthcare, and PHCS.We accept the following means of payment: Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. After your insurance has paid their share, the guarantor for the patient's account will be billed at the end of each month. Prompt payment within 30 days is expected. Call our business office if you have questions about your bill. There is a $20 service charge for returned checks. It is important that parents understand how the benefits of their insurance plan apply to their child's visit. Insurance plans provide enrollees with an information book or a 1-800 number for questions. |
